Work Life balance

This is one term that I keep hearing often these days.

For some reason I cannot help but feel it is a comment directed more at women at the work place and not at the gentlemen. I also have been at the receiving end of my boss's concern when work days stretch endlessly and days blend into each other. Sometimes when he asks me such questions, I cannot help but wonder at the situation at his home as well - he spends almost the same time as most of us do on the work floor and it cannot be picnic for him at home as well.

I tell myself that just as I have a responsibility to be at the office at a stipulated time in the mornings, I also have a moral responsibility to be back at home at a decent time.

My bottom line - I can always get another job, but never another family.
