Love at the terminal

Romance can strike you at the most unexpected of times. The most improbable of them all I think is a terminal in a busy airport.

Is love about feeling miserable without your loved one? I thought love was supposed to strengthen your resolve and make you move mountains. It did, but also bought out an overwelming compulsion to spend more time with my lover and have endless hours of conversation.

Preparing for an hour of conversation took a day, but when the time came my thoughts were mostly extempore. And I could not remember what I ever spoke about. I guess I now know what sweet nothings is all about.

I never had the fire crakers and star burst, but if the flutter in my heart and the grin in my face is an indication, I am most certainly in love.
